Femtet analyzes models by dividing them into small meshes.

To analyze a complex model accurately, finer meshes are required, Finer meshes means larger number of elements.

That increases the memory usage.

 

The amount of memory Femtet can use is not limited by Femtet but by OS.

 

The memory includes the virtual memory.

The table shows the amount of memory available for analysis.

32 bit	2GB by default
	3GB Optional
64 bit	Practically no limit

 

* These values are for ideal situations. The available amount will be less than these values in actual cases.
