Cut and remove a portion of body.

Procedure

On the [Model] tab, go to and click Select Body at .
On the [Model] tab, go to , and click ▼ at the side of [Cut] . Select [Extract] on the submenu. (Alternatively, right click the mouse. On the appearing menu, select [Deform]-[Extract])
Select the body to extract.
Click in the parameter input dialog box.
Click and set the 1st point on the modeling window. (Alternatively enter the coordinates in the parameter input dialog box, and click .)
Click and set the distance from the 1st point on Modeling Window. (Alternatively enter the distance in the parameter input dialog box, and click .)

Inexecutable cases (solid body)


Cutting planes are crossing.	The designated points are not on the perimeter.	The designated points are on the different edges.

The designated points on the different edge topologies are allowed
as long as the edges are on a straight line as shown above.

Inexecutable cases (sheet body)


The designated points are on different sheet bodies.	Cutting planes are crossing.	The designated points are not on the perimeter.

* The point on the 2nd cutting plane is specified by the distance from the 1st point.
