A body is revolved.

Revolve the selected vertex, wire or sheet bodies
and create wire, sheet or solid bodies respectively.

 

Caution when revolving sheet bodies

The revolution axis must be out of the sheet face. Otherwise an error will occur due to the "edge contact".

 

  

Procedure

  1. On the [Model] tab, go to



    and click Select Body at .
     

 

  1. On the [Model] tab, go to

    ,

    and click ▼ at the side of [Extrude] . Select [Revolve] on the submenu.

    (Alternatively, right click the mouse. On the appearing menu, select
    [Deform]-[Revolve])

 

 

  1. Select bodies to revolve.

  1. Click in the parameter input dialog box.

 

  1. Click and set the point on rotation axis on the modeling window.

    (Alternatively enter the
    point on rotation axis in the parameter input dialog box, and click .)
     

 

 

 

  1. Enter the vector of rotation axis in the parameter input dialog box and click .

    (Alternatively click and set the
    vector of rotation axis on the modeling window.)
     

  2. Rest the mouse pointer on a face topology to specify its normal vector as the command's direction vector.
    Rest the mouse pointer on an edge topology to specify its direction vector as the command's direction vector.

  1. Enter the rotation angle in the parameter input dialog box, and click .

    (Alternatively click and set the
    reference point of rotation and the rotation angle on the modeling window.)

 

  1. The unit of angle is [ ° ]
