Fast Calculation in Electromagnetic Analysis
Fast Sweep
By using the fast sweep, the calculation becomes fast.
Note that the analysis accuracy can be worse because this method doesn't calculate all the frequency points.
Interpolation sweep
By interpolating the results of the S-parameters for some analysis frequencies, the S-parameters for all analysis frequencies are inferred.
Although this method reduces the calculation time, its accuracy may be degraded in some cases. Also, please note the field values will not be output.
Multigrid Method
The multigrid method solves simultaneous linear equations very fast.
Note that this method doesn't necessarily speed the calculations of all models.
Increasing the number of the grids leads to the increase of the number of meshes, which makes the simulation more accurate.
See [Use the Multigrid Method] for the details.
