In this example, the theoretical solution for a J-shaped cantilever beam bent at a right angle is compared with the results of a stress analysis. Through this example, you can learn how to create the analysis model and how to review the analysis results. The calculated deflection of the cantilever beam was 6.78 mm in Femtet, showing good agreement with the theoretical value of 6.74 mm.
