Two cylindrical solid bodies are created. The smaller cylinder is subtracted from the larger cylinder by boolean. As a result, a ring is created.
The inner face of the ring is set with the simple contact boundary condition.

The vectors of the displacement are shown below.

The inner side of the ring is displaced by 0.5 [mm] according to the boundary condition. The outer side is displaced less.
The vectors of the stress are shown below.

The tensile stress is exhibited in the circumferential direction, while the compressive stress is exhibited in the radial direction.
