Q8. Contour diagram

Field value changes discontinuously at the body boundary. If the coordinates of body boundary are specified with [Results at Specified Coordinates],
which field value of the bodies is acquired?

If [Averaging] is switched on on the Contour tab, the averaged value is displayed.

If the materials of bodies are different, the averaged value for each material is displayed.

If [Averaging] is switched off, the results of material are output, but material for output is not fixed.

 

For a graph display also, the averaged value is displayed if the "Averaging" is switched on.

For different materials of bodies, the results are plotted for each material.

If [Averaging] is switched off, the results are plotted, but material for plotting is not fixed.
