Getting Started

Please begin with [Tutorial] and [Examples] to familiarize yourself with Femtet.

Overview

Femtet® uses a finite element method to simulate the physical behavior.

 

Femtet has solvers covering the analysis domains listed below. See [What Femtet Can Do] for more information.

  • Stress Analysis

  • Electric Analysis

  • Magnetic analysis

  • Thermal Analysis

  • Piezoelectric Analysis

  • Electromagnetic Analysis

  • Acoustic Analysis

  • Fluid analysis/Simple Fluid Analysis

  • Some coupled analyses of above

 

Femtet® consists of a Solid Modeler, an Automatic Mesher, Solvers and a Post Processor.

Just by creating the model and specifying the attributes or properties relating to it, the simulation listed above can be performed automatically.
