Files of Femtet

Femtet handles the following files.

File Name	General Naming	Notes
Project.femprj	Project file	File for the project. The analysis model is saved in this file. The analysis results are not saved in this file. You can open the file by drag and drop.
Result.pdt	Results file	File for the results. It is saved when the project is saved. It is saved in the folder named [Project Name.Results], which is at the same location as the project file.
Result.log	Log file	File for the analysis log. It is saved in the folder named [Project Name.Results], which is at the same location as the project file.
Other output files (.s*p file for electromagnetic analysis, .csv file for parametric analysis, m.file (MATLAB) for motor analysis, etc)		Various output files are available, which are mostly analysis-dependent. It is saved in the folder named [Project Name.Results], which is at the same location as the project file.
