Inflow/Outflow Face of Current in 3D Magnetic Harmonic Analysis
Inflow/Outflow face of Current
-
In the magnetic harmonic analysis, inflow/outflow faces must be outside of the air domain. (It is for the purpose of calculation with FEM)
-
The the end faces set with inflow/outflow face boundary condition or port boundary condition are considered open circuit in 3D harmonic analysis.
It is irrelevant whether the forced current is applied or not.
Therefore, the induced current reflects at inflow/outflow faces or ports.
If they are not set with the inflow/outflow face boundary condition or port boundary condition and are brought out to the outer boundary, they are considered short circuit.
