What to Do with Warnings in Electromagnetic Analysis
-
The selected mode doesn't propagate. This warning appears when a non-propagating mode is selected as an input in the 3D harmonic analysis. Check the electromagnetic field and confirm that expected propagation modes are acquired. Enter "port electromagnetic analysis" on the [Search] tab of this help window. You will find documents related to the subject. The possible causes of this warning are as follows: ・ Ports are not set properly. (Usually, two or more electrodes are required) Action to take: Set up the ports again correctly. Tutorial and various examples will be of help. - In the analysis of waveguides, the frequency is less than the cutoff frequency. If results are as you expected, no actions are required.
