Layer Tab
The anisotropy of material of the layered structure is taken into account on this tab.
The tab is available for the magnetic-transient analysis.
Electromagnetic steel plates for motor have different permeability and electric conductivity between the layer direction and the direction perpendicular to it.
It would take enormous calculation time if meshing such structure fully. In the magnetic transient analysis, therefore, calculation is performed in the following way.
Treat the layer structure as the bulk structure by the homogenization method. This will allow you to analyze with less mesh divisions, and anisotropy taken into account.
Internal magnetic field (micro magnetic field) is also analyzed with more accuracy.
See [Homogenization Method] for details.
It is shown in the [Edit Body Attribute] dialog box. See [How to Set Body Attribute/Material Property].

Space Factor |
If the conductive layers (or magnetic layers) and the insulation layers (or non-magnetic layers) are layered repeatedly, enter the space factor of the conductive layers (or magnetic layers) in the entire body. |
