Waveguide Analysis Tab
Analysis conditions for the waveguide analysis are set on this tab.
It is in the [Analysis Condition Setting] dialog box. See also [How to Set Analysis Condition].
Frequency Analysis

Setting Item |
Notes |
|
Analysis Type |
Propagation constants of the transmission line are dependent on the propagation modes and frequencies. Frequencies are solved for the given phase constants in the frequency analysis. |
|
Step |
Sets the step scaling and the devision number for the frequency analysis. |
|
Frequency Analysis |
Number of frequencies is equal to the number of modes. Minimum and maximum phase constants define the range for calculating the frequencies. |

|
Sets the mode selection rule. The setting is only applicable to the propagation constant analysis of the waveguide. If the desired modes are not acquired, you might as well change the setting of the mode selection rule. |
- In the waveguide analysis, the solution is standardized so that the power input to the port is 1W.
