External Circuit Conversion

If external circuit coupling is ON in the magnetic transient analysis, conversion for external circuit can be set up on the [Magnetic analysis tab].

Conversion is conducted as described below.

 

Conversion Procedure

If conversion setting is ON, Femtet performs the following conversions automatically.

 

  • Conversion of input parameters for full model to those for partial model
    The required input values in analysis are for partial model.
    Once the values for full model are entered, Femtet will automatically convert them for partial model.

  • Conversion of output parameters for partial model to those for full model
    The values given by analysis are for partial model. They are automatically converted to the values for full model and output to the results table.

Conversion of Input Parameters

The values of input parameters of the external circuit for full model are converted for partial model as listed below.

Parameters not listed here will not be converted.
