Specified by

Selects either Total Heat Quantity or Heat Density.

Temperature dependency

Available only when Heat density is selected.

Select either No or Yes for time dependency.

When Yes is selected, click . The table to set [Temperature-Heat density] table

will appear. Enter the data there.

Click the Graph button to see the graph of entered data.

At least two data for [Temperature] and [Heat density] are required respectively

to draw a graph.

Total Heat Quantity

Selectable only for Total Heat Quantity.

The following should be noted.
 

• When multiple bodies are specified by heat quantity, it will be distributed to each
  based on their volume ratio.

• If vertex bodies are mixed with other types of bodies, such as edges, faces and solids, the heat quantity will not be distributed properly.
  Avoid specifying the heat source when vertex bodies are mixed with other types of bodies
  in a body attribute.
  

Heat density

Selectable only if the time dependency is No in Heat density.

Time dependency

(Specify weight/heat)

Select [Specify Weight] or [Specify Heat] and press to enter the weight or heat table (see Time Dependency Setting for the details).

The heat quantity varying with time can be defined.

This function is available for transient analysis only.

Use distribution data
(Distribution data)

Available if the time dependency is No in Heat density.

Select Use distribution data
to set the heat density distributed over the model.

Click the Distribution Data button to open the dialog box.
