1. Hide the outer case frame first.
   
   Highlight the outer case frame on the modeling window and click to select.
    

2. On the [Model] tab, go to
   
   
   
   and click [Hide Selected Bodies] .
   
   

3.  On the [Model] tab, go to and click [Rectangle [Specify Length]] .
    

4. Designate the startpoint.
   
   In the parameter input dialog box, enter Startpoint (X:-8, Y:-4, Z:0) and click .
   
    

5. Set the width.
   
   Enter Width: 16 and click .

6. Set the height.
   
   Enter Height: 8 and click .

7. Click in the parameter input dialog box and exit.
   
   A rectangle has been created.
    

8. Let's create a [Circle] using the menu button
   
   On the [Model] tab, go to and click ▼ at the side of [Sheet Body] .
   
   Click [Circle] on the submenu.
    

9. Designate the center.
   
   In the parameter input dialog box, enter Center (X: 0, Y: 0, Z: 0) and click .
   
    

10. Set the radius.
    
    Enter Radius: 5 and click .

11. Click in the parameter input dialog box and exit.
    
     

    • It is also possible to exit with the <Esc> key.

A circle has been created.
 

12. Unite the rectangle and the circle
    
    On the [Model] tab, go to
    
    
    
    and click [Boolean Unite] .
    
    Alternatively, while the bodies are being selected, right-click the mouse and click [Boolean] - [Unite].
     

13. Highlight the rectangle and the circle and click to select.
     

• To select a particular body out of several overlapping bodies, try the following methods:

12. • List Selection Method
      
      Rest the mouse pointer on the overlapping area, and press the <Tab> key.
      The body selection will change. The left-click fixes the selection.
       

    • Space Key Method
      
      Rest the mouse pointer on the overlapping area, and press the <Space> key.
      Body selection will change. The left-click will fix the selection.

• The Unite operation is not affected by the order of body selection.

14. Click in the [Unite (Boolean)] dialog box.

15. The rectangle and the circle have been united
     

16. Let's stretch the united body.
    
    On the [Model] tab, go to
    
    
    
    and click Select Body at .

17. On the [Model] tab, go to
    
    
    
    and click [Extrude] .
    
    Alternatively, while the bodies are being selected, right-click the mouse and click [Deform]-[Extrude] - [Extrude].
     

18. Highlight the body which was united at step 15 and click to select.
     

19. Click in the parameter input dialog box.

20. Enter the extrusion vector (X: 0, Y: 0, Z: 9) and click .

The inner case frame has been created.
