Application72 Stress-Acoustic Coupled Transient Analysis of Ringing Bell

【General】
Based on the Application example #71, the acoustic analysis is performed.
Stress transient analysis and acoustic transient analysis are coupled.
The sound pressure distribution in the air over time is calculated.

【Analysis Model】
For boundary condition, the force applied by the striking bar is set as a changing load over time.
The vibration of bell is analyzed by the stress solver, and the sound pressure in the air is analyzed by the acoustic solver.

【Result】
Depending on the sitiffness of the striking bar (Hard Strike and Soft Strike), the bell deforms differently and affects the sound pressure distribution in the air.
