Example7 Thermal Load and Mechanical Strain

General

  • A piezoelectric device is thermally loaded. The resulting mechanical strain generates voltage on a floating electrode.
     

  • The deformation and the generated voltage are solved.
     

  • Unless specified in the list below, the default conditions will be applied.

Model

A piezoelectric plate is placed on an aluminum plate. The bottom face of the piezoelectric plate is fixed at 0[V]. The top face is set with the “floating electrode” boundary condition.
