Application44 Forced Air Cooling of the Substrate with Heat Source

Designing the heat dissipation is required for the densely populated substrate.
For the forced air cooling with a fan, more efficient design can be realized by simulating the fulid flow. The fluid-thermal analysis is performed on the below model where the forced convection is given to the substrate with a heat source mounted on.
Fig. 1 is the analysis model, Fig. 2 is the analysis results shown in the flow velocity vectors, and Fig. 3 is the temperature distribution.
The results show how the heat dissipates by the forced convection.
