Application67 Resonant Frequency Shift of Rotating Fan

【General】
When rotating, a fan is deformed due to the centrifugal force and the stress is generated inside the fan.
The resonant frequency shift is analyzed by importing the analysis results of deformation and stress.


【Analysis Model】
Static analysis is applied to the fan made of ABS resin.
The resonant frequency of the fan is obtained by resonant analysis.
By comparing the resonant frequencies where the static analysis result is imported and not imported, shift quantity of the resonant frequency due to the centrifugal force can be analyzed.


【Results】
In this example, the resonant frequency is shifted to the higher side by 50% due to the rotation of 1200rpm is observed.
