Application60 Antenna on the Curved Surface

The electromagnetic analysis is performed to solve the characteristics of antenna on the curved surface.


An analysis model in Fig. 1 is a patch antenna with microstrip line used in Example 6 of electromagnetic analysis. A form of the model is modified by the CAD function of Femtet.
Fig. 2 shows the S-parameter. The red line is a result of this example and the dotted blue line is a result of Example 6 of electromagnetic analysis. Due to the difference of the form, the characteristics are slightly different.
3D directivity is shown in Fig. 3. The directivity is displyable in a simple setup.
