As the temperature difference in the element determines the power amount, it is necessary to design the cooling capability of the heatsink in order to apply air cooling.
The size of the heatsink affects its cooling capability. The temperature difference in the element was calculated with different sizes of heatsink. Based on the calculated temperature difference, the power amount generated by the element was estimated.
As a result, the cooling capability of the heatsink was optimized to generate the power needed for the device operation.
